Long journey of searching and touching reunion
he question is how far will you go if your missing dog is found? Most dog parents will go anywhere and drive anywhere for a chance to be reunited with their missing dog.
Dara Prak’s dad in Texas never thought he’d see his beloved Pit Bull, named Titan, after the dog was stolen from his backyard.
Only the collar was found and the dog was missing. The Titan was taken, and poor Dara was grieving. He immediately took to social media, visited shelters in Houston, and never gave up his search.
After more than three months, he admitted to losing hope of seeing his best friend’s dog again.
To his surprise, a shelter worker in South Carolina called Dara and asked if he had a dog missing. The microchip in the dog has revealed where it belongs.
Dara and his girlfriend immediately begin their 1,000-mile journey to the shelter and reunite with the Titan.
Based on his condition, the dog is believed to have been abused, but the story of his trip will never be known. He is expected to make a full recovery.
