Man Saves A ‘Dro.w.ned’ Dog While Scattering His Grandmother’s Ashes On The Dock

Brave boy saves a dog

A 20-year-old man named Raden Soemawinata is on the Brighton Pier to scatter his grandmother’s ashes over the bay in Melbourne, Australia. But when he said goodbye to his grandmother, he didn’t know he would save another.

Just as he was paying his respects, a tiny Matlese-shitzu named Bibi was blown off the pier by the strong wind and fell into the water. Its owner, Sue Drummond, panicked and feared that his furry best friend would ‘dr.o.w’.

Without hesitation, Soemawinata quickly stripped off his shirt and panties and jumped into the water to save the frightened puppy, while Drummond and passersby watched nervously.

Thankfully, Soemawinata was able to grab the struggling Bibi and lift him out of the water to safety. He picked up Bibi while Drummond knelt down and pulled him up.

Drummond hugged Soemawinata tightly and breathed a sigh of relief after her baby was safe.

She never expected this to happen in the first place, but I’m sure she’ll hold onto Bibi when she’s at the pier from here on out.

Without Soemawinata, poor Bibi might have drowned. Drummond said she was hesitant to jump into the water after him, as she was unsure if she would make it to shore with a struggling dog.

Thankfully, Soemawinata, who was hailed as a hero, was in the right place at the right time to save Bibi. It was certainly fate, and both Bibi and Drummond were grateful for his quick thinking.

This is a brave man, if that was the case, what would you do if you saw a dog struggling in the water?
